The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) continues to pressurize artists across India against performing in events involving Pakistani nationals. After banning Mika Singh over his performance in Karachi, the FWICE has now turned its guns on Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh.

In its letter to the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the organization wants Diljit’s visa to America declared null.

Diljit is scheduled to perform in America on the invitation of a Pakistani-American national Rehan Siddiqi. The event is scheduled to be held on September 21st.

Diljit Dosanjh Can’t Perform

The FWICE states that Diljit Dosanjh performing on the invitation of a Pakistani national will set a wrong precedent in view of the current situation.
