After thinking Anoushay Ashraf doesn’t like Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar because we now know that he’s problematic, the VJ spilled the tea on their ‘beef’. So how did this beef begin?
During a digital talk show, Anoushay Ashraf made a statement she would not do a Khalil-ur-Rehman project even if paid 50 lakhs. Her statement was an answer to a very specific question from the host.
“If someone offers you 25-30 lac per day for the Khalil ur Rehman drama, then what will you do?”
In response, the VJ stated;
“I am not going to do that. I don’t want to do his projects.”
The clip from Tabish Hashmi’s, ‘To Be Honest‘ is now viral. Naturally, this led to the actress being trolled by the Sadqay Tumhare writer’s fandom online.
The Sehra Mein Safar diva then took to social media to clear the air about the statement. In the comment section she said;
“All I said was what I felt was right. That I don’t agree with his vision and ethos and that’s my right. It’s an opinion and I put it out respectfully.”
She elaborated how the slandering and abuse she faced at the hands of the Landa Bazaar writer’s fans is a prime example of why she wouldn’t want to work with the scriptwriter.
