When we think of competing artists, we usually think of the animosity and rivalry that comes with the territory. We know there’s stiff competition in the entertainment industry and this often makes for sordid tales of dragging each other down.
However, today’s empowered youth might have the right mindset to turn things around. In a recent Instagram live session, Jannat Mirza made an honest statement about fellow TikTok star Areeka Haq. And it is not only inspiring fans but other artists in showbiz as well.
Jannat made a name for herself through the Chinese video-sharing mobile app and has since been a part of many projects. We’ve seen her appear in many commercials and photoshoots for big-name brands. Now, the star is all set to make her Lollywood debut in a film directed by Syed Noor.
Areeka, on the other hand, might not have as many followers as Jannat, but she is equally talented. Apart from her humorous and skillful videos on TikTok, her fans have also loved seeing her work for popular brands.
More often than not, peers in the entertainment industry are envious of each other. But 22-year-old Jannat changed all of that in an Instagram live session. When she was asked to give a statement on Areeka, Jannat said:
She’s extremely beautiful, sweet, cute, and humble. And I love her videos!
When she first started posting on TikTok, I knew she was going to be famous.
Jannat also added that Areeka has star quality and that she knew the new TikTok star would climb towards success.
When I come accross her videos I don’t scroll, I watch them till the very end.
