Shaan Shahid sparked a controversy on social media after his blatant remarks on PTV for airing the Turkish historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. He pointed out that the Pakistani channels should highlight and support local talent instead of making an Urdu-dubbed version of foreign dramas.
Now, he is in the limelight again, but for all the right reasons. As it turns out, Shaan is collaborating with famous musician Shafqat Amanat Ali for an upcoming song.
Taking to his Twitter account, the Zarrar actor revealed that he penned down a ‘love song for the country’ and is collaborating with the singer. He also added that through this song he is attempting to wake up the patriotic spirit amongst Pakistani youth.

In his tweet, he also tagged Prime Minister Imran Khan who Shaan has been supporting and encouraging for a long time. Even when the pandemic hit the country, the Waar actor took to his social media accounts to urge the public to support the Prime Minister.

Replying to a fan’s comment, Shaan also pointed out how through this song he will try to ignite the fire of patriotism amongst the youth.
