Arijit Singh Catches Pasoori Fever During Live Concert in Mumbai [Video]

We hope T-Series doesn’t get any ideas for its next song.

Indian singer and songwriter, Arijit Singh performed a cover of the hit Coke Studio single Pasoori by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill during his live concert in Mumbai yesterday.

The singer won over fans from both India and Pakistan as video clips of his viral performance continue to make rounds on social media.

Looks like Pasoori fever hasn’t died down as Indians continue to groove to the popular Coke Studio song. This isn’t the first time Indians have openly shown their appreciation for the iconic Pakistani song; as it united Indian and Pakistani cricket fans during the Pakistan-India T20 World Cup clash.

A Global Hit

Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s soulful voices, along with the stunning production by Coke Studio, have made Pasoori a global hit. Even Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt, are fans of the song,(we hope they don’t copy this as well!). The song topped the Spotify charts in Pakistan, India, and other countries as well.

Although we enjoyed Arijit Singh’s rendition, let’s hope Bollywood and T-Series don’t get any ideas for a new song.
