Child pornography and pedophilia are a plague on society worldwide, especially in a country like Pakistan. Every other day, there are reports of abuse, rape and abduction of innocent children in various parts of the country. While some of them are reported, others are too afraid to come out due to the trauma it inflicts on their mental well-being.
In today’s society, there are groups and activists that continue to fight for justice and eradicate this vile culture of pedophilia from our society. However, despite our best efforts, we’ve merely scratched the surface.
Recently, Pakistani actress Armeena Khan found out about a local Facebook group that welcomes perverts and pedophiles. This group has around 43,290 members who actively share and exchange child pornography among each other and a lot more things that we cannot even begin to explain.

“Hi guys, I need EVERYONE to report this group on Facebook. It has 43,290 perverts and pedophiles on it. They’re exchanging child pornnography amongst a lot of other things. If there are any police officers on my Twitter, please look into this. Thank you.”

She urged people as well as authorities to take action against the administrators of this sick group. Some people even shared a few screenshots of the content of this group.

It is truly shocking to see that there are people still out there creating such vile content and support groups for this sort of activity. Even with Facebook and other social media platform’s preventive measures to ban and condone this sort of behavior, we still come across such groups.
Thankfully, this particular group has been reported and removed.
What’s even more shocking is that in countries like the United States (with even its LGBTQ pride and open support for sexual orientations) there is a small segment of support group for pedophiles! They call themselves M.A.P (Minor Attracted Person). They even have their own flag!

What does this tell us about our society? What preventive measures should be taken to stop this?
If you come across as such groups, please do your civic duty as a member of humanity and report these groups to the authorities.
