Pop star Asim Azhar lost his cool after crowd started chanting his ex-girlfriend Hania Aamir’s name during a literary festival at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
It has been years since Hania Aamir publicly denied dating Asim Azhar in an interview in 2020, which led to the pair’s breakup. Since then, Asim Azhar has moved on, and is happily engaged to actress Merub Ali.
However, that hasn’t stopped the public for taunting Asim Azhar by chanting his ex’s name every time he performs.
A viral clip is making rounds on social media that showed Asim Azhar getting visibly annoyed by young students trolling him while he was on stage with host Yasir Hussain.
This time around, Asim had enough of the trolling as he confronted the rowdy students at IBA. He called out the students by saying,
Kya hogaya beta? IBA hy aye ho na ya pagal khanay?
Meanwhile, Yasir Hussain tried to keep things in control, telling everyone to relax and jokingly asking them not to get the concert cancelled. Asim agreed with Yasir and chimed in, suggesting that they better not ruin the rest of the student’s night with their antics.
This isn’t the first time that the Pakistani awaam has trolled pop star on his awkward public breakup with Hania Aamir. The “Jo Tu Na Mila” singer has been shutting down such trolls for a few years now.
Asim’s savage rebuttal to the annoying students was certainly applauded by netizens online. Most fans would agree that the whole Asim-Hania joke has become old and outdated now.
