Pakistani singer and heartthrob Asim Azhar has once again left fans in suspense about his wedding plans with his fiancé, actress Merub Ali.
While the couple has been engaged for some time now, their fans have been eagerly waiting for a wedding announcement. And while Asim didn’t exactly spill the beans, he did drop a few hints during a recent interview with Indian journalist Faridoon Shahryar.
Currently touring Canada and the USA, Asim sat down with Shahryar to talk about his music journey, his international fanbase, and, of course, his personal life. When the inevitable question about his wedding plans came up, Asim gave a classic desi response: “It’s up to the parents.”
When asked directly if 2025 is the year he and Merub will tie the knot, Asim played it coy. “In desi families, parents decide wedding dates, so that factor is there,” he said, dodging the question like a pro. He added, “I’m neither going to confirm nor deny if it’s happening in 2025.”
