While we shelter ourselves to protect against the coronavirus, doctors and healthcare workers rush to the front line to work long hours and risk their lives for the infected people.
We as a community, are failing to control the epidemic just because some of us are just not ready to face the reality. They are ‘getting bored’ by staying at their ‘comfortable’ homes and they want to go out and have fun.
To raise awareness against corona and thank medical practitioners fighting against it, Atif Aslam shared a video on his Twitter. The singer paid special respect to the doctors and called them soldiers of the current world.
“This message is for all the doctors out there, who are away from their families and are fighting the war of corona. It’s the first time you’ll see soldiers outside of borders. Just imagine for a while, that if these people do not exist, then the cures will also cease to exist. I pray that God protect them and their families from any sorrow and despair.”

He further went on to warn those who are still going out and still think its ok.
He took some examples from the world and said that it is the result of our actions that we are going through this crisis.
“Six-year-old girls aren’t safe anymore. People are corrupting. And given the current circumstances, imagine a little girl saw her own parents die in a war-field and said, ‘I will complain to God about this,’ then God would have certainly heard her.”

Atif Aslam aslo sent a special message to his fans ‘Aadeez’ to stay safe and take care of themselves. And while he was at it, he made prayers for those who are obliged to leave their homes and who can’t afford two meals a day.
For the doctors who are endlessly working hard day and night, Atif asked them to send in song requests. Atif promised to sing them different versions of his popular songs just to freshen them up and entertain them a little bit.
