Despite the depressing situation with no close contact and no audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pak vs Eng Test series must go on. So how are the players holding up in these testing times? Well, Turkish period drama Ertugrul Ghazi is keeping the Pakistani team motivated.
According to Pakistani cricket captain Azhar Ali, every single player is hooked on the globally acclaimed series. He said the Islamic historical series was motivational.
“I think there is no player who is not watching Ertugrul.”

In a press conference the Pakistani cricket captain opened up about the Pakistani team is keep their hopes up despite one loss and one draw against England. Ertugrul did the trick.
“It’s tough to lift the side after losing a winning match but we have done well to lift ourselves and will do our best to level the series by winning this Test.”
Dirilis Ertugul or Ertugrul Ghazi, the Urdu dubbed version of the show, is a period drama that chronicles the struggles of Ertugrul the man who laid out the groundwork to establish the Ottoman Empire. He was the father of Osman I, the first Sultan of the Ottoman.
