Veteran actor Behroze Sabwari recently did a podcast with Nadir Ali and spoke about his life and career journey. Surprisingly, he also disclosed his drinking and smoking addiction which he kicked after he was diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Tanhaiyaan actor shared that he left them after 50 years when he realized he could potentially die.
He said,
I have left this thing, Allah has his special blessings upon me, I did this for 50 years, I was detected with severe COVID I was in ICU for Thirteen days, I was on permanent oxygen, and only paramedical staff was allowed. I got closer to Allah and I promised Allah I will quit this 100% I left everything, I left it at once, yes, I used to crave smoking but I used nicotine patches for that. You need willpower for that and the basis of will power is faith in Allah.
