Abid Ali’s family has refuted reports and rumors which stated that the veteran actor passed away last night. He’s still undergoing treatment at Liaquat National Hospital for his liver-related ailment.

Earlier, many top media outlets had reported that Abid Ali has breathed his last. The news spread across the internet, fooling fans and admirers alike who expressed their sadness and paid their tributes to the legendary actor.

An End to Rumors of Abid Ali Passing Away

Soon after the news spread out, Abid Ali’s daughters took to their social media handles to deny all the rumors.

Iman Ali wrote ‘fake’ under a screen shot of one such news. The actress also lashed out at bloggers for spreading unfounded news. She also thanked everyone for their prayers.

“He is alive Alhamdulilah and will be InshaAllah,” Rahma Ali wrote. She went on to request TV channels to refrain from spreading fake news.

Abid Ali has been suffering from a liver disorder for the last two months. Last Friday, the veteran actor was hospitalized in Karachi.
