Every dog has his day. But unfortunately for Pakistani politician Ghulam Mustafa Khar’s dog, a particular Thursday was not his day. The poor animal got hit by a motorcycle and people are demanding justice for the mutt.

The accident took place on September 15 in Muzaffargarh. The culprit? A local resident by the name of Abdul Rasheed.

A Walk To Forget

It was another ordinary day of wonder for Khar’s dog, sniffing, pooping and exploring the city on his daily walk. Little did he know that danger lurked around the next corner.

While out and about on his usual walk with his caretaker Ismail, the veteran politician’s dog took a hit from an oncoming motorist.

Like a deer caught in the headlights, the poor canine did not see what was coming and took the full force of the bike. The dog was severely injured and rushed to a nearby pet clinic.

The doctors revealed that the former Punjab governor’s dog, who is worth Rs. 130,000, had fractured its backbone.

Who Was In The Wrong?

Whether it was the case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time for Rasheed or just the dog’s ignorance of traffic laws due its elite status, we can’t confirm who was in the wrong.

However, after the medical reports were filled, the police finally took charge and registered a case against Abdul Rasheed.

The Dog Has Lost Faith In Humanity

According to the FIR, the poor dog has gone into depression due to the trauma. Unable to stand or move his injured legs properly, the former governor’s dog is suffering from PTSD and refuses to share his experience of the incident.

During this rough time, the caretaker and dog’s loving owner hope to see their pooch smile once more and that justice is served.
