BTS: JK Leaves for Qatar for FIFA World Cup While Jin Flies to Argentina for Concert with Coldplay

The oldest and youngest members of BTS left Seoul on Monday for different destinations.

The world’s most powerful and famous band, BTS, is once again on a mission to capture the hearts of Armies. The youngest member of the band, Jeon Jungkook (JK), flew to Qatar for the promotion of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in a private jet whereas the eldest member, Kim Seokjin (Jin) left for Argentina to perform his new song The Astronaut with the English band Coldplay at a live concert.

The Moon singer, Jin, flew to Buenos Aires to perform his new single song, The Astronaut, which will be released on 28 October at Coldplay’s Music of Sphere World Tour. This will be his last song and album before be leaves BTS duties for mandatory military service back home.

Jin looked charming in a Louis Vuitton jacket with messy hair and his alter-ego plushy, Wotteo, in hand. Wootteo is Jin’s own creation and mascot for The Astronaut, and has his own Instagram account as well.

It is rumored that BTS will perform in the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022 but the performance lineup has not been disclosed yet.

The opening ceremony of the World Cup 2022 will take place on November 20th at the Al Bayt Stadium.

BTS started promoting the world’s biggest football event in 2022 with the release of Yet To Come (Hyundai Version) on 23 September.

BTS recently had the most awaited concert of their entire career in the city of Busan, which was their second free concert. It was on the largest scale ever and was attended by international Armies as well.

Soon after the concert, the band made an announcement about its military enlistment, starting from Jin after the surprise upcoming release of his solo album. The other members will follow according to their individual plans, it was declared.
