BTS Jungkook’s Live FIFA World Cup Song ‘Dreamers’ Tops Music Charts Worldwide

It topped YouTube’s top trending videos chart in just the first eight hours.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup official song Dreamers by BTS’s Golden maknae, Jeon Jungkook, with Qatari singer, Fahad Al Kubaisi, which celebrates football’s biggest event, is topping charts around the world.

The song was released and performed by the K-pop sensation on Sunday for the World Cup’s opening ceremony at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.

Jungkook achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first and only Korean ever to perform on the FIFA World Cup stage and also the first artist to have an official solo soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup since Ricky Martin’s The Cup of Life in 1998.

A video of the South Korean superstar’s live performance was uploaded to YouTube the following day, and it quickly topped the platform’s top trending videos chart, recording three million views in just the first eight hours.

The song was also listed as number one in the ‘Rising Daily Top 100’ of China’s streaming platform QQ Music, as well as South Korea’s own Bugs! music chart.

FIFA’s YouTube channel dropped the official music video for Dreamers yesterday. It showcases the vibrant culture of Qatar as people from all corners of the world come together for football’s biggest event, and has garnered over 11 million views in just 24 hours.
