He is one of the four artists who have been announced to perform at the event.

Jung Hoseok, who is popularly known as J-Hope of BTS, will be ringing in the new year with other musicians, fans, and celebrities from all over the world this year in Times Square.

As per reports the South Korean boy band, TOMORROW x TOGETHER, will also be performing on the same stage as J-Hope on New Year’s Eve in Disneyland, Times Square.

This will be the first time that J-Hope will be performing as a solo artist after BTS performed for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in 2017 and 2019. He is expected to perform his songs = (Equal Sign), Chicken Noodle Soup, and Butter (Holiday Remix).

American R&B and pop group New Edition, English rock group Duran Duran, and singer-songwriter Jax will also perform at the same concert.

This will be J-Hope’s second significant solo international appearance following his spectacular debut at Lollapalooza in August.

Jung Hoseok’s stage name, J-Hope, was derived from his desire to be ‘the hope of BTS’ and to represent hope for fans. After several years of group productions, the South Korean singer became the first member of BTS to begin solo artist promotions in June after BTS announced its hiatus.

J-Hope made history in 2019 when his song, Chicken Noodle Soup featuring Becky G, debuted at number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was the first BTS member to do so. He is also the first South Korean artiste to perform at a major American music event
