The chairman of Ismail Industries — the parent company of Candyland and Bisconni is offering a sweet deal. According to Miftah, this has been his ancestral business, with his father and grandfather owning manufacturing companies [of candies and biscuits].

Miftah Ismail is running a ‘candy election campaign‘ by introducing a new sugar candy wrapped in the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s name. The former minister has launched his favourite product in limited-time packaging for locals in the constituency he’s competing in. The packaging also has an image of the ex-finance minister’s face.

Wonder which candy is it? As per sources, it is Ismail’s personal favourite, the local Fanty candy.
