After Adnan Siddiqui’s reality show, Tamsha, ARY Digital is back with another entertaining and adventurous reality game show called The Ultimate Muqabla.
Hosted by celebrity cricketer Shoaib Malik, the show is scheduled to be released on 15 October with a line of 14 contestants from the showbiz and cricketing fraternities.
One of the contestants, actress Mariyam Nafees, recently shared the details of this game show with Images and said, “We shot [The Ultimate Muqabla] in Thailand in June and July. It is hosted by Shoaib Malik”.
She added,
We also have cricketers in it — Kamran Akmal, Imad Wasim, Fawad Alam, Saeed Ajmal, and Azam Khan.
Mariyam Nafees shared that actors Haroon Shahid, Faiza Khan, model Farah Butt, fitness model Nusrat Hidayatullah, Hammad Farooqui, Mahr Un Nisa, Sehar Afzal, and DJ Neha Khan are also on the show.
She also revealed that The Ultimate Muqabla is a revived and “leveled up” version of ARY Zindagi’s reality show, Madventures, which ended in 2018 after three seasons.
Talking about the experience, she said, “It was a lot of fun. It’s a reality show. We played games right on the beach actually and it was shot in Phuket”.
Shoaib Malik also revealed the rules of the show, saying,
The participants will be divided into multiple teams. Each team will be made to do grueling tasks, water games, and overcome hurdles. It will be a litmus test of endurance and tenacity to fight for the top spot. The winner of the show will be a team and not any particular individual.
ARY Digital gave us a sneak peek of the show on its official page wth the caption ‘Ariel The Ultimate Muqabla presented by Roar and Powered by Palmolive Shampoo’.
It is presented as “You have seen him shooting boundaries and taking wickets. Now, catch him in an all-new avatar in Pakistan’s biggest reality game show! Starting from the 15th of October (Saturday) at 9:00 PM”.
