News has been making rounds on the web about actor Feroze Khan’s alleged domestic violence against his ex-wife Aliza Sultan. She had recently claimed on her social media account that he had abused and tortured her and even presented evidence for it in court.
According to the evidence that Aliza Sultan submitted to the District and Sessions Courts Karachi East, she was allegedly subjected to torture on 7 July 2020. Images of her with swollen eyes, bruised arms, and medical reports of assault were also shared with the media.
Aliza Sultan also alleged that Feroze Khan had tortured their son, Sultan, who she claimed was also injured during a fight between his parents.
Her lawyer added that when she went to the police station to lodge a complaint, “Feroze and his family threatened Aliza”.
As soon as the evidence was made public, several celebrities condemned the way Feroze Khan had purportedly treated her.
Mariyam Nafees even posted the report’s picture on her Instagram story.
She wrote, “Blunt injuries on both arms + back and chest! Ya Khudaya!!! Why do we raise voice only when they’re dead? Why do we blame them when they manage to escape?”
Even Osman Khalid Butt supported the actor’s ex-wife online.
He said, “I hope and pray you get the justice you deserve, Aliza”.
Mansha Pasha also wrote her heartfelt thoughts about the alleged incident on her social media.
She said, “There is no excuse, no fandom, no friendship and no idolisation so important that it allows us to ignore violence and/ or make excuses”.
Aiman Khan also spoke up in support of Aliza Sultan:
Domestic violence is not ok! speak up!
Asim Azhar’s fiancée, starlet Merub Ali, also shared her thoughts on the matter.
“I pray for Aliza and her children. I pray she gets justice,” she remarked.
Actor Usman Mukhtar wrote: “Disgusted!!! Hope that Aliza Sultan gets Justice”.
