‘Chakkar’ Cast Slammed For Visiting Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine For Film Promotions

The cast went to the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine for the promotions and received some serious backlash over it.

Lately, promotions of films and their songs have become an emerging trend in the Pakistani industry. Production houses reserve huge budgets for such promotions. Taking inspiration from the successful Gangubai Kathiawadi’s promotions, the stars of our industry have also joined the bandwagon and scattered around the city to promote their upcoming movies. The cast makes several public appearances around the malls and universities to promote their film and their songs. Recently, the cast of their upcoming film Chakkar has created quite a hype.

With their promotion in full swing, the cast of Chakkar went to the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine for the promotions and received some serious backlash over it. People are enraged and cannot stop spewing hate over them for making a sacred place part of their movie business.

They did not just visit the Shrine and prayed for the film but they filmed a whole vlog there. Netizens said that these artists stoop so low to have their films promoted. Fans not by any stretch of the imagination are concurring with this sort of absurdity. The public stated that it is upsetting that the artists could be so insensitive.  They believe that it is destructive as it demonstrates not just Biddat and Shirk but also that the Pakistani actors are following in the footsteps of Indian artists.

Take a look!

The upcoming film’s star-studded cast includes Ahsan Khan, Neelum Muneer, Yasir Nawaz, Javed Sheikh, and a few others.

But as much as the stars are making an effort to make their film a hit, they are equally receiving flak from the netizens over the boldness of the movie.
