A little less than a year ago, a man from Charsadda murdered three brothers over a land dispute. According to the mother, the suspect opened fire on her sons at their house in Ali Jan Qila.

After the murder, the killer fled abroad to Malaysia, hoping to evade the consequences of his actions. However, he could not get far as the slain brothers’ mother plea for justice on social media went viral.

Soon, after the Malaysian authorities agreed to extradite the suspect back to Pakistan where the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police produced him in the court to face charges of a triple murder case

However, it seems that justice is blind as the local Charsadda court decided to release the suspect, who’s accused of a triple murder, on bail for ‘lack of evidence’.

According to the report, the court’s decision came because of the prosecution’s failure to present any strong evidence against him. The court accepted the suspect’s bail on a surety bond of Rs. 400,000.

This isn’t the first time a suspect has been released over a lack of evidence. The prosecutor’s inability to present strong evidence has brought immense criticism about the country’s judicial system.
