According to reports, the girl was working in the kitchen when she accidentally dropped the hot oil, causing it to splash on her hands and face. Her employer allegedly reacted with extreme brutality, subjecting the young girl to further torture and abuse.

The incident has sent shockwaves across the country, with many people expressing their outrage and disgust at the treatment of this young girl.

The incident highlights the plight of many underage children who are forced to work as domestic help in Pakistan, often subjected to brutal physical and emotional abuse.

Child labor is a serious issue in Pakistan, with an estimated 12.5 million children working in various industries across the country. Many of these children are forced to work in hazardous conditions, with little or no regard for their safety or well-being.

The incident has also raised questions about the role of the authorities in protecting vulnerable children from exploitation and abuse.

While child labor is illegal in Pakistan, the laws are often ignored or poorly enforced, leaving many children at risk of abuse and exploitation.

This shocking incident is a stark reminder of the urgent need for action to protect the rights of children in Pakistan. It is essential that the authorities take immediate steps to ensure that such incidents are not repeated and that children are protected from all forms of abuse and exploitation.

  1. No one would send their child to work in people’s houses if they can afford not to. If their parent would be earning enough to feed the family and take care of all their medical and educational needs, there would be no child labour. This state of affairs is a consequence of govt. ineptness and failure.
