The first time Comics by Arsalan got a call from MD Productions

Arsalan was already famous before his acting stint and there were many fans who were curious how this handsome man landed a role with the top stars of the country.

“It wasn’t planned at all, I was thinking of leaving my job and pursuing social media full-time, and one day I got a call from MD productions. The minute they told me that the play was written by Saima Akram Chaudhry, who was also the writer of Suno Chanda, I was in.”

Suno Chanda was in fact the first drama Arsalan saw since he isn’t a TV buff at all. He loved the drama hence when the producers told him about the writers, he was sold.

However, the shoot that was supposed to end in 45 days took almost a year due to a coronavirus outbreak and schedule delays. “It became a really long spell, in fact, we finished the drama just a couple of days ago but working with Ayeza and OB was an absolute pleasure,” revealed Arsalan.

On moving to Pakistan

The actor further told that he lived in Ireland for almost 7 to 8 years and completed most of his education from abroad. “I was living a very comfortable life in Ireland and then England but my parents were alone here and since I was the eldest son therefore I thought it was better to move back.”

Arsalan was offered just 1/5th of the salary he was earning in Ireland when he decided to come to Pakistan. “I really didn’t care about the money, I just knew I had to do this.” He then joined a multi-national and did fairly well in his career but recently he left his job to pursue acting and YouTube full time.

Opting for the spiritual path

The super famous Youtuber also has a very deep, spiritual side. “I saw people who had big homes, money, cars, everything, yet they were not content. I always asked myself, how do you find contentment? That’s when I started studying religion and understood what can actually give you eternal peace.”

But Arsalan does admit that life isn’t a constant struggle. “I won’t say that I have found contentment but at least I am trying, I fail every day but I try.”
