Pakistani crime, thriller film Carma promises thrilling car chases, revenge, and a hefty dose of ‘karma’. The film ventures away from the romance genre and follows the path set by iconic Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino.
The title is a wordplay on ‘karma’ and ‘car’ as we are about to see a series of action-packed events shot entirely in and around cars in Karachi. Directed by Kashan Admani and written by Fawad Hai, the film features prominent names like Adnan Siddiqui, Zhalay Sarhadi, Naveen Waqar, and Osama Tahir.
The trailer of Carma was released on YouTube on July 30 and gives us a glimpse of some dark topics such as child labor, pedophilia, adultery, and revenge. The story revolves around a young man who is abducted by gangsters, however, we know that it is ‘about to go horribly wrong.’
Adnan Siddiqui also shared the trailer on his Instagram and gave us a hint.
“Was he kidnapped or did karma pay him a long overdue visit? A roller coaster of suspense, thrill and action that will keep you on the edge of your seat.”
