Great news for Pakistani comic fans and the Pakistani cosplayer community, DC Comics knows we exist. Pakistani artists and cosplayers have been featured in DC FanDome.
Aside from Comic Con, DC FanDome has become the next big thing. Much like any comic convention the event featured sneak peeks at upcoming comics, games, and films. Besides, that fan art and cosplayers are another integral part of the convention.
Except this event was entirely virtual.

While all other events were postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DC Comics and Warner Bros organized a virtual comic convention. While the main event titled DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes happened on August 22nd, a second convention titled DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse was held on September 12th.
The convention featured fan art and cosplayers from all over the world including Pakistan. Here are the lucky members of Pakistan’s comic geek community that were featured in the event’s Fan Gallery.

Additionally, a Pakistani cosplayer, Asad Shams was featured on the main screen of DC Comics in his black superman costume. His Shazam costume was also featured in the Fan Gallery.
