The post came just hours before the trailer for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s film 83.

Faraz Manan’s six-yard garment was heavily embellishments with sequins, and added oomph on the pallu. The pallu had detailed embellishment with lace and net details. The Race 2 actress paired the sari with a matching pale creme high-necked blouse and chunky jewelry. That added a splash of jewel-toned green to the neutral look.

For her hair, she kept it low-key and pulled back into a sleek bun. Though her mak-up competed with the elaborately bedazzling outfit she wore. She paired the look with heavily kohl-lined eyes and a nude lip.

The square-cut emeralds paired with diamonds added a color pop to the otherwise neutral look.

The Om Shanti Om breakout star and hubby Ranveer Singh have been dominating headlines with their upcoming film 83, a biopic of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.

Deepika Padukone will star as Romi Bhatia opposite real and reel husband Ranveer Singh in the Kapil Dev biopic. The biopic follows the life of the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
