Ranveer Singh has spoken out about his fourth pairing with wife Deepika Padukone for the sports film 83. After three romantic tragedies Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmavati, this film will be the first where both of them don’t die in the end (well that’s good to hear).
83 will be directed and produced by Kabir Khan alongside Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Induri. It will be distributed by Reliance Entertainment, and is all set to be released on 10th April 2020.

Ranveer Sing is all set to portray Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone will be enacting the role of Kapil’s wife Romi Bhatia.
People are anxious about how much of a role can Deepika have as Kapil’s wife. The film is primarily about the cricket legend’s on-field life as he led the team to win the 1983 World Cup in England.

Sources have also claimed that Deepika was reluctant to step aside from the central role. At one point, sources claim that she feared that she might not get enough screen time.
What convinced Deepika to decide otherwise? Perhaps it was some lovely cajoling by hubby Ranveer. Or it may have been all those extra 0s that were added to her paycheck. Rs 14 crores is no chump change we guess.
