Ayesha Omar, who is making her return to showbiz with Kaaf Kangana, is appealing to everyone that the movie is better than the first trailer and its reportedly poor reception with cinema fans in Pakistan.
The trailer was lampooned over social media when it debuted, due to its forced dialogues, overacting, and other cringe-worthy elements. In case you missed it the first time, here is it (you’ve been warned though):

In an interview to Images, Ayesha Omar says that those trolling the trailer should just wait and see the end product.
She says:
“I hear there’s trolling going on on social media… look, everybody has the right to express their own opinion. Personally, I feel that you can’t judge a movie based [solely] on the trailer,” said Ayesha. “There have been many movies that had amazing trailers and then when you go to watch the film, you are deeply disappointed, and you’re like, ‘What was that? This was a scam.’”

Given this, she says, what if that trailer was a scam, and the end product being surprisingly good? She is very proud of her character Gulnaz, a loud and young Punjabi girl who is not afraid to hide what’s on her mind.
“[Gulnaz is] very loud, bold, brave and unafraid. She’s not scared of anybody. She says what she’s thinking, whatever comes into her mind. She’s not afraid to express her love or dislike.”
Does Gulnaz have a love interest? Ayesha couldn’t hide her enthusiasm as she spills all:
“The man she loves falls for someone else, and even though her heart breaks, she doesn’t give up. She believes whatever she wants, she will get — although there is someone else who wants her very much too.”
From all that we have seen in the trailer, and with Ayesha Omar’s comments thrown in, it could be interesting to see who ends up with whom. We hope the movie is better than what the initial public reaction was.
