Javeria Abbasi is one of the few actresses who isn’t shy to speak her mind. She engaged in a candid chat on a digital show and spoke about many issues including her divorce, raising her daughter alone, and returning to the television screens after a gap of five years. Why did Javeria Abbasi call Sajal old-styled?
When asked what would she like to change about Alif actress, Sajal Ali, Juvaria gave a hilarious reply. “I would recommend her to cut short her hair, she has this weird auntyish hairstyle since forever. She should experiment a bit with her look,” said Juvaria.
She gave suggestions to a number of other actors including Shaan, Reema Ji, Meera Ji, and Mahira Khan. She added that if one wants to learn about elegant dressing then they should take inspiration from Reema and Resham. She found both these actresses to be very graceful.
On returning to television after 5 years
The Taana Baana actress has returned to the small screen after a gap of 5 years. ” Transitioning from a mainstream heroine to the role of a mother wasn’t easy. It was hard for me to accept it too so I took a break,” revealed Javeria.
But it was during Covid that she realized that she couldn’t live without acting hence prepared herself for a comeback.
Getting divorced
Javeria also opened up about her personal life. ” I don’t understand why women cry if they get divorced or have to live alone. I got married twice and it did not work out but this does not mean I gave up. I fought and stood up for my daughter.” added Javeria.
The actress accepted that during the toughest phase of her life, it was indeed her family and friends from the industry, including Faysal Qureshi, Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui who stood by her.
