Mahira Khan is a Pakistani actress who is best known for her role in Humsafar. She has made a name for herself in the media industry with several accolades to her name and even starred in a Bollywood film Raees.
Much like the rest of us in quarantine, Mahira Khan is also going through an emotional time and is rethinking her life choices.
In an interview with Rewind at Home hosted by Samina Peerzada, Mahira revealed that she cannot run from her problems during self-isolation and has to deal with them head-on.
She also shared how the movie Mrs. Doubtfire made her cry because of how relatable the divorce scene of the couple was to her son Azlan. He started asking questions regarding Mahira’s divorce and the actress could not contain her emotions.
When speaking of the novel coronavirus, Mahira said,
One of the first cases that i heard was of my friend. He has recovered because he is young, but he just lost his sense of smell.
This happened in the initial stages.
Mahira was relieved that she was not traveling at the time of the spread of COVID-19.
She was also asked about working with Fawad Khan in Neelofar, to which Mahira said,
It was like coming back as older and more mature.
She says that working in Maula Jatt is not the same as the two stars worked closely together for the shoot of Neelofar.
Samina Peerzada asked Mahira if she is in love with someone special to which her answer was,
Yeah, I think I am in love.
Mahira says she’s very shy about it and did not share the name of the person. However, she did reveal that the person is not from the showbiz industry and that Samina might know of him.
This is one thing that I just want to protect with my life. I also want to protect my child the same.
Although Mahira does not want to share the details about her personal life because she fears an evil eye might spoil it, we wish her the best of luck in all of her life adventures.
