Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed has been blessing our television screens since 1995. While he has garnered well-deserved attention in Pakistan, he is also famous in India. The Mere Paas Tum Ho actor has visited India frequently. But did you know he was offered a role in Ghajini? And that he stayed at Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s house?
Humayun Saeed in ‘Ghabrana Mana Hai’
Humayun Saeed recently appeared in an interview with Vasay Chaudhry, for his show Ghabrana Mana Hai. In the interview, the actor went into great detail about his personal and professional life. Having attracted 2.5 million followers on his Instagram account, there’s a lot the fans want to know.
Among all the things he revealed, the most shocking was the revelation that he was offered a role in the Bollywood hit movie Ghajini. Not only that, but he also stayed at Aamir Khan’s residence in Mumbai. Humayun Saeed said:
I met Aamir at his house in Bombay [Mumbai]. He called me there. I was there for a role in ‘Ghajni’.
The actor did not reveal which role he was offered. However, he did provide details of why we didn’t see him in Ghajini. Humayun said:
You [Humayun] are much too good-looking for this character.
All of this might be believable, but the fact that he stayed at Aamir Khan’s house is the most shocking of all. Revealing details of his stay, he said:
Yes he called me, and I stayed at his house for three days. I had a lot of fun. I met him twice and he also served us many desi food and dishes and then we came back to Pakistan.
