Sarwat Gilani discloses her relationship with Bollywood legend Parveen Babi on Ahmed Ali Butt’s talk show Super Over. The Joyland star’s family has a royal history!
Recently, Sarwat gave an interview on Super Over, where she went on to unveil her family’s lineage. Sarwat Gilani took everyone by surprise, casually informing Ahmed and the audience that Parveen Babi, the late Bollywood heroine of the 1970s and early 80s, was her great aunt. Parveen was known for her beauty and panache in acting.
As the interview progressed, Sarwat brings it to the public’s notice that her grandfather was the leader of the Princely State of Manavadar. She then went on to explain the reason she kept this a secret for 20 years. Check it out!
“I don’t want to brag about it because I think the people who belong to such distinguished family stay humble and don’t want to show off about their royal background,” Sarwat told Ahmed Ali Butt.
