Drake Flexes on Fans With ‘Iced-Out’ Crypto Wallet, Company Denies Partnership With Him

The rapper has been on a roll after wagering cryptocurrency worth $1 billion at various sports and casino bets.

Hip-hop artist Drake recently flexed on his fans with his new diamond-encrusted Ledger Nano hardware wallet on his Instagram story with the caption:

Waiting on you Bitcoin…

The bedazzled crypto wallet even got Ledger’s attention and it tweeted,

Went on Instagram this morning and saw Drake flexing his iced out Ledger Nano, so that’s pretty cool.

Drake is the latest famous rapper to flex a Ledger hardware wallet, with previous examples coming via partnerships and product placement deals with the company but this time around, Ledger says that it’s not involved. The crypto hardware wallet maker Ledger came forward to clarify that the Canadian rapper is not a partner.

Ledger’s VP of Communications, Ariel Wengroff told a media outlet that they “learned about Drake’s iced-out Ledger the same way the rest of the world did, via his Instagram story.

She further stated,

Ledger doesn’t have a partnership with Drake and didn’t give him that Ledger, but we’re not surprised Drake gets the power of self-custody and protecting his assets.

The 36-year-old music artist from Toronto joined the world’s biggest cryptocurrency sportsbook and casino stake last December under the username ‘DeepPockets6’. According to reports, he wagered cryptocurrency of more than $1 billion on different sports and casino bets within just two months.
