BTS Jungkook Becomes World’s Second Singer to Get Solo FIFA World Cup Soundtrack ‘Dreamers’

The official soundtrack will be debuted at the opening ceremony tomorrow.

The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup will finally take place in Qatar tomorrow and BTS’s agency, Bit Hit, just announced the name of the brand new song that Jeon Jungkook (aka JK) will perform to set the stage on fire at the opening ceremony.

It stated in an official notification on Weverse that the Euphoria singer recorded the official soundtrack Dreamers with several other international artists in Qatar last month.

The statement also contained details of the opening ceremony and a channel information link (ARY Digital for Pakistan).

The song also features Qatari singer and record producer, Fahad Al Kubaisi. You can listen to the teaser here.

JK is the first artist to have an official solo soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup since Ricky Martin’s The Cup Of Life in 1998.

The news of BTS’s youngest member performing at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022 has the internet in a frenzy. Along with ARMYs, even regular football fans are looking forward to his performance more than the actual matches.

The craze has left people thinking that Jungkook’s performance will overshadow the excitement of the World Cup itself. Well, that’s the power of BTS for you.

The ceremony will take place at the Al-Bayt Stadium of Qatar at 7 PM (Pakistan Time) tomorrow. After the ceremony, the stadium with a capacity of 60,000 spectators will host the match between home team Qatar and Ecuador.

The Left and Right singer has been trending all over Twitter with different hashtags as soon as his agency, Big Hit/HYBE confirmed his performance for the big night.

JK has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first and only Korean ever to perform on the FIFA World Cup stage.
