Drama ‘Habs’ Sets Hilarious New Couple Goals and Ketchup Meme Trend

After all, what is pizza without ketchup?

If you’re wondering why ketchup is trending on social media this month, you can thank the writers of the ARY Digital drama serial Habs. A scene from it has gone viral for the ridiculously hilarious line “ketchup bhi nahi leke gaye woh” which has become the latest trending meme on social media.

Feroze Khan and Ushna Shah’s Basit and Ayesha may be the stars of the serial but the young onscreen husband and wife, Amir and Zoya stole the show and gave Pakistan a new meme trend this week.

Here is the original scene:

It shows Amir being upset to see his wife, Zoya, storm out of the room with a few slices of pizza but no ketchup.

Ketchup bhi nahi leke gayi woh,” a visibly upset Amir remarks to his parents about the travesty.

For context, Zoya’s unemployed husband is lectured by his parents for ordering pizza with his mother’s credit card. The incident was so stressful for poor Zoya that left without grabbing the crucial condiment. After all, what’s pizza without ketchup?

The scene became a full-blown meme online as Twitteratis came up with some hilarious reactions to it:

Amir set new ‘hubby goals’ as later on in the show, he consoles his wife by bringing her ketchup  — a surefire candidate for the ‘husband of the year’.
