Ertuğrul Star Gülsim Ali Express Grief Over Ghotki Train Incident

Ertuğrul actress Gülsim Ali who plays the role of Aslihan Hatun, extended her prayers for the victims of the Ghotki train crash.

Over 50 passengers lost their lives and more than 100 were injured when two trains collided near Ghotki on Monday, June 7. According to the reports, the accident took place when a welding joint of the track broke, causing the two trains to collide.

Taking to her Instagram story, the Diriliş: Ertuğrul actress expressed grief for the lives lost and extended prayers for them. She wrote,

“I’m deeply saddened to hear about the passenger train accident at Ghotki, Pakistan. May Allah have mercy upon those who lost their lives in this tragic accident.”

She continued,

“I extend to brotherly people of Pakistan my heartfelt condolences.”

The creator of the series, Mehmet Bozdağ, also tweeted about the incident, extending condolences and prayers over the tragic train accident. He wrote,

“I have heard the news of the train accident in my friend and brother country Pakistan with great sadness. Forgiveness from Allah Almighty to those who lost their lives in this accident and to those who were injured. We pray to Allah Almighty for immediate healing.”
