In another news, Pakistani singer Asim Azhar got engaged to fashion blogger and model Merub Ali in an intimate ceremony. Word on the grapevine suggests that the engagement had been in discussion for a while now between the two families.
Neither of the two nor their families have responded to the rumors, however, sources claim that they got engaged recently in a private ceremony.
Of course, social media users are shocked with the sudden news but it seems that they had been speculating it for some time now. Both Asim Azhar and Merub are great friends and they have been spotted together countless times.
Merub Ali’s mom and Asim’s mom Gul-e-Rana are best friends and they both have several photos with each other’s families on their Instagram.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but strangely, people are shipping them and want them to tie the knot.
Asim, who became a social media sensation for allegedly dating Hania Amir faced trolls and bullies when the Ishqiya star announced their so-called ‘breakup’. The singer was at the center of the controversy and it recently blew up when the two exchanged heated tweets.
