Faisal Qureshi just joined the cast of highly anticipated period drama Baadshah Begum.
The film-maker behind the web series Rafay Rashdi broke the news.

Rafay revealed that Baadshah Begum cast Faisal Qureshi as the antagonist.
With Iman Ali as the lead, Faisal Qureshi is set to essay ‘the only ultimate, arch-rival & menacing, villain’ in the web series.

Other cast members include Gohar Rasheed and Imran Ashraf. Fans were expecting Gohar to take up his signature spot of the antagonist but it seems Qureshi’s inclusion has changed all that.
Faisal’s First Foray into Web Series?
Faisal Qureshi is considered a veteran actor in Pakistani showbiz circles. He has portrayed a range of different roles on both the small and big screen. His latest performances include acclaimed drama serials Haiwan and Baba Jani.
Web series is a new medium for the actor.
Baadshah Begum marks Qureshi’s first time working in a web series. This is also his first time working with Bol actress Iman Ali.
“We’re in the initial stage right now. Working on the script and the characters, lots of other things. I’m very excited, Iman and I are working together for the first time.”

Baadshah Begum Plot
The period drama Baadshah Begum will cover the subject of sibling rivalry. The plot will revolve around power dynamics and power struggles within a family and community. This will touch on the themes of inheritance, family politics, gender inequality, and male dominance.
O Rangreza’s Saji Gul wrote the script.
As for the Baadshah Begum release date, it is yet to be announced.
