Falak Shabbir Career
Falak Shabir is a Pakistani singer and songwriter who gained attention in 2008 with his debut single Rog. The song was a commercial success and earned him a TMA Award nomination, which is presented by the UK Theater.
Since then, there was no turning back for him. His second single Tera Saath Ho was nominated for an MTV Award and was included in the soundtrack of the movie Welcome to London.
But this success didn’t come to him easily. In one of his morning show interviews, Falak shared his struggles to pursue his passion for singing.

Rog was his self-funded song. He had to work several jobs in order to make enough money for its audio and video recording.
He also said that his father was very supportive of his singing ambitions. However, he never gave him any financial support, so that part was left to Falak himself to figure it out.
“My father said do what you want to do but you have to do it on your own. But his moral and emotional support was always there with me,” he shared.

Often considered as the “King of Soul Style” and “Mr. Unplugged”, Falak has many hit songs to his name. In 2013, he made his breakthrough in Bollywood with Saajna which was featured in John Abraham romantic comedy film I, Me Aur Main.
The Ijazat singer performs on both national and international platforms. He has also won the “Best International Act Award” in PMA (Pakistan Media Awards). And he did it twice.
Needless to say, his soulful voice and musical chords have touched the hearts of millions of people around the globe.
Falak Shabir Personal Life
Falak began to develop his love for music at the age of 12. As he grew up, this love turned into a passion.
He did bring his very trendy and unique style of pop singing to a generation of Pakistani music fans. He has also served as an inspiration for a lot of young boys.
As he has spent most of his time in Lahore, he is quite fluent in Punjabi and he loves pairing this mastery of language with heart-wrenching music, giving us a lyrical gift for our ears.
But the interesting part is that he is actually a very lively person. Talking with Ahsan Khan, he said that now that he has sung so many sad songs, he wants to try acting in a comedy movie.
Falak believes that he can do a comic role really well. In 2015, he was even offered to act in a Bollywood film. He didn’t mention the name of the film, but it was a sequel of a hit movie for sure. However, he declined that offer as Pakistan and India were not on good terms at that time.

What is the Falak Shabir Up To?
Well, getting married to the national crush of Pakistan, of course. But jokes apart, the Soniye singer has had a flourishing career in the music industry.
Falak has his own record label. Even his own own brand of T-shirts and guitars under his name. Just two weeks ago, he released the music video for Chup Chup Ke, for which he collaborated with Bloodline Music and Mavi Singh.

There is so much going on in his life right now that it is hard to tell what his future plans are. Perhaps a collaboration with a popular rapper? You never know.
