Newspaper Gets Trolled For Mistakenly Observing Zulfi Bukhari’s ‘Death Anniversary’

The post was meant for the poet Z. A. Bukhari.

Zulfi Bukhari

Legendary broadcaster, writer, and poet Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari died at the age of 71 on July 12th. However, one newspaper outlet mistook him for Imran Khan’s Special Assistant, Syed Zulfi Bukhari.

As you can imagine, trolls took matters in their own hands.

A picture of the newspaper story has been circulating around on social media. Remembering the first director-general of Radio Pakistan, they attached a picture of Zulfi instead of Z. A. Bukhari.

Let’s take a look:

The reactions on this post were hilarious and people couldn’t help but take a jab at this huge blunder.

A few Twitter users have named and shamed some local newspaper outlets but nothing has been confirmed yet. We don’t know for a fact if this story was a part of any publication.

But one thing is for sure: PTI’s Zulfi Bukhari is very much alive and healthy.
