A viral video clip of actor Feroze Khan is making rounds on social media, in which the Habs star is seen walking his son, Mohammad Sultan Khan, out of a family court today.
Following a lengthy child custody battle between him and his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, the actor was spotted reassuring his son who innocently asked if they will be going home together.
The video has sparked a debate on social media as people expressed their sadness for the young kid who has to go through this ordeal. Many complained that the child should stay with his mother instead of Feroze Khan, especially after the latter’s apathetic and nonchalant attitude on his social media. He even dropped his first rap song Maangain Sabki Kharian earlier this month, and there has been no mention of his family and his kids, in particular, on his social media ever since the news of his domestic issues was reported by the media weeks ago.
One user suggested that divorced parents are better for a child rather than unhappy parents who constantly fight with each other.
A netizen wrote, “After reading comments : Guys understand it, it’s better that both are divorced and children grow up seeing both PARENTS separately”.
He added, “You need positive energy, happy adults for children then constant fights. Compromise? Do it as far it’s possible but please don’t create fake world for your child”.
The user concluded his comment with, “divorced parents are better than fighting and unhappy parents”.
Feroze Khan vs. Aliza Sultan
The Tich Button actor has been under severe criticism after claims and alleged proof of domestic violence made by his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, went public last month. His lawyer filed a plea against Aliza Sultan for purportedly submitting forged documents as proof of her abuse and thereby, misleading the court. Subsequently, the next hearing was adjourned until today, and the hearing of their child custody case hearing will be on 25 November.
It was also recently claimed that Feroze Khan has not even paid childcare support for his son and daughter over the last 2.5 months, and the hearing for this case has been moved forward.
