The famous anchor and host, Rabia Anum, made everyone proud with her brave act — she left the morning show queen Nida Yasir’s show, Good Morning Pakistan, because of actor and alleged wife beater, Mohsin Abbas Haider.
She was invited along with Fiza Ali and Mohsin Abbas Haider as a guest on the show and claimed that she had not been informed that Mohsin Abbas Haider would be on it as well.
Explaining why she chose to leave, Rabia Anum apologized to Nida Yasir and her team in tears and said that it would have been an injustice to all the victims of abuse for whom she had taken a stand. She added that if she compromises her beliefs today and shares a platform with Mohsin Abbas Haider, she will never be able to speak up for her daughter or friends if they experience domestic violence.

Mohsin Abbas Haider was accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife, Fatima Sohail, in 2019. The controversy grabbed national headlines and he was boycotted by certain influential personalities of the showbiz fraternity besides being kicked off the show Mazaaq Raat.
A lower court in Lahore even found Mohsin Abbas Haider guilty of threatening his former wife.
Lately, the actor has been seen on various television dramas and shows, and even starred in a short film, Main Shahrukh Khan Hoon. He will also be seen in the upcoming web series Sevak — The Confessions. It seems like everyone has just forgotten about his inhumane conduct with his ex-wife and has given him a clean chit.
Many netizens praised Rabia Anum for taking a stand for her belief. Even senior producer and writer, Faysal Chaudary, applauded her brave act and mentioned its time for people of the likes of Mohsin Abbas Haider and Feroze Khan to be banned from the showbiz industry.

Actor Feroze Khan has also been accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Aliza Sultan, and the two are currently embroiled in a legal battle.
She even submitted bruised picture in court as proof, which he brazenly denied and claimed to be fake.
