Feroze Khan Reveals Why He Wasn’t Considered for Mere Pass Tum Ho [Video]

A lot more artists turned down Meray Paas Tum Ho than we know. Turns out even Feroze Khan couldn’t work on the script.

In his appearance on ‘Har Lamha Purjosh,‘ the Khaani actor opened up about how he couldn’t be a part of the project due to money issues.

“I lost the show because I asked to be paid.”

When the host Waseem Badami asked how much did Humayun Saeed earn then, Feroze responded.

“I am not sure to what extent it suited Humayun Saeed to cast me in his production – that angle I am not aware of, but I do think Khalil sahib didn’t like the idea of an actor demanding money for performing on a script written by him.”

 

Humayun Saeed had previously revealed that the role was ‘Danish‘ in his production MPTH was meant to be played by Adeel Hussain and then later, Feroze Khan. Yet both actors did not take the part, leaving the role for Humayun to characterize.

When the host again pressed the Gul-e-Rana star on whether other actors work for free, this is what he said:

“there are actors who work for free, …. I don’t really know,”

The Tich Button actor spoke extensively on his decision to quit showbiz. Feroze Khan opened up about arriving at the conclusion that he did. He added that he’s completely satisfied with his decision despite ‘burning bridges‘.

He had previously elaborated that he was not quitting acting and would provide his services for a good cause.

“If there is any (television show or film) that educates people, which conveys a good message and can help correct a wrong in the society….I will take that up.”
