With Ramzan a little less than 2 months away, we all know what that means ….. Eid-ul-Fitr movie releases! Its the season to make the most of your downtime.
Eid releases have become a big part of the holiday season. So this Eid what movies can we look forward to besides our trusted Lollywood rom-coms?
Here’s a list of all the Eid-ul-Fitr releases this year.
7. The Legend of Maula Jatt
After two years of waiting The Legend of Maula Jatt has finally been confirmed for release on Eid-ul-Fitr. Fans have gone into a frenzy! This movie was expected to be a hit ever since the trailer dropped in late 2018.
The Legend of Maula Jatt cast Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik and Gohar Rasheed in key roles. The director Bilal Lashari is not in any hurry to release the film’s theatrical trailer with all the buzz around the film.
6. Scoob!
Another Scooby-Doo film that promises to bring back that 90s nostalgia. This animated flick is about how Shaggy found Scooby.
The film is another edition to Hollywood’s Scooby-Doo franchise, produced by the Warner Animation Group and distributed by Warner Bros. Scoob! will be distributed by HKC in Pakistan.

5. Tich Button
Urwa Hocane’s debut as a producer put out quite the trailer that didn’t give away any details. With the over the top trailer, we wonder what the film will be like.
Tich Button release date has also been confirmed for Eid-ul-Fitr. Tich Button stars celebrated actors Farhan Saeed, Feroze Khan, Soniya Hussain, and Iman Ali among others.
4. Lafangey: Chapter 1
Horror film Lafangey: Chapter 1 cast Sami Khan and debutante Nazish Jahangir. The movie’s release date has been confirmed to be an Eid-ul-Fitr release.
So far not even the movie’s teaser and poster have been released. Word is that the poster will be unveiled by the end of March. Meanwhile, the Lafangey: Chapter 1 trailer will drop in the first week of April.
3. Kamli

Initially, it was reported that Sarmad Khoosat’s Kamli would be an Eid-ul-Fitr release. Kamli cast three female powerhouses Saba Qamar, Sania Saeed and Nimra Bucha.
Other cast members include Eman Shahid, who has worked with Sarmad in plays. The film is female-centric and doesn’t have an urban setting.

2. Dum Mastam

Adnan Siddiqui’s Dum Mastam cast Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan. The two will be making their film debut with this rom-com.
Amar Khan wrote the film with Ehteshamuddin directing the project.
1. Fast and Furious 9
Torreto and his crew are back for another round (read race). Fast and Furious 9 cast John Cena and Cardi B besides our usual family.
The franchise’s last installment, Fast 8 is the second highest-grossing Hollywood film in Pakistan. Fans look forward to this family reunion at the Box Office.
