The Firdous Jamal and Mahira Khan controversy doesn’t seem to be coming to an end. Mr. Jamal has faced severe backlash following his comments regarding Mahira Khan. Different Pakistani celebrities have raised their voices in support of the Humsafar actress.

Fans across different social media platforms have also shared their opinions regarding the whole controversy. Some slammed Firdous Jamal for his comments while others came out in his support. The latter termed it as his personal opinion and argued that everyone is free to share their views.

Son of Firdous Jamal Sets the Record Straight

Now, the veteran actor’s son, Hamza Firdous, has also stepped in to defend his father.

Hamza took to his Twitter account to voice his support for his father. In a series of tweet Hamza lashed out at celebrities who have been criticizing his father.

The actor argued that his father isn’t a chauvinist by any means.

Furthermore, Hamza Firdous appreciated Mahira Khan for the work she has done for the industry.

He concluded by wishing Mahira Khan best of luck for her upcoming movie.

The Controversy

The whole thing started when firdous jamal called Mahira Khan over aged during Faysal Qureshi morning show. He also called Mahira “a mediocre sort of a model.”

“She’s not heroine material, she’s more of a mediocre sort of a model. She’s too old to be a heroine and ought to be doing motherly roles.”

Ever since then he has been criticized for his comments.From Mawra Hocane, Humayun Saeed to Osman Khalid Butt different Pakistani celebrities slammed him for his comments.
