Recently Aamir Liaquat proposed to Fiza Ali during his appearance on her television show in the presence of his second wife Tuba Aamir. Somehow because Tuba Aamir was with him, this is an excuse for a man’s perversion.
Fiza Ali is commending this insensitivity towards his wife and netizens question what’s to praise about the situation?
When Fiza was asked about the ordeal in a separate interview, she too wrote off the ordeal to Aamir Liaquat just being honest.
Wow. Aamir Liaqat proposed Fiza Ali while being married to his current wife? 👀 pic.twitter.com/RVcqRlHtSV

Fiza Ali Doesn’t feel Aamir Liaquat did any wrong
In fact, she was taken aback by the hate towards the man who felt no shame in hitting on another woman in front of his wife with no regard for her feelings.
This should be categorized as potential harassment against the lady by Fake Doctor aamir on a serious note.

i was shocked to see maria wasti in that shameful video and now this. It is ok to keep these things personal if you really have to do them but displaying them in public makes you vomit.

Fiza Ali’s reaction towards Aamir Liaquat’s behavior is counter-intuitive to the idea of respecting women. If a woman is to value a man’s bluntness regardless of the insensitivity, should we condone stalkers for their bluntness and honesty?

Condoning such behavior amid widespread public backlash paints a concerning image of our society and norms.
How low are women’s standards when they praise a man for being honest about his tharakpan? Both Fiza & the host are baffled about why people could hate a man who felt no shame in hitting on another lady in front of his wife with no regard for her feelings. Yeh kya muashra hai? 🙄 https://t.co/rUjbmGyrwA

Praising this behavior actually puts down Tuba Aamir, whether she realizes this or not. Had the genders been reversed in this situation would Fiza Ali’s reaction have been the same? Then it would have been a shameless proposal not an honest proposal.
This is exactly the mentality that nearly all of our dramas promote on a daily basis. I purposely catch a few glimpses even though they're unbearable. In Bewafa, the wife is actually waiting for the husband to abandon the 2nd wife, putting 100% blame on her for "misleading" him.

This woman Fizza Ali is saying that he proposed her twice; both times in the presence of his first and second wives respectively.

I wonder how Fiza would have reacted if it were her husband doing the same thing in front of her. 🤷🏼♀️

This also raised the question of whether Fiza Ali really believed what she was saying or it was lip service to get Aamir Liaquat off her back.
Maybe but many women are also socialised to think crappy behaviour is just normal.

Then maybe it’s just social conditioning. Which again raises concerns on the kind of society that exists.
Yes, its a self respect problem. The entire system is rigged to keep women submissive.

Empowerment for these women is limited to the choice of what and how much to wear.

Lately, there’s been a lot of discussion around toxic masculinity and misogyny. From Jami Mahmood confronting society with the horrific existence of male rape to Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s comments about feminists.
What do you think about this whole issue? Was it a harmless remark or a disrespecting one?
Being a man i think when a man do not respect to a woman feelings, actually he shows that nothing is happened but he looses his own respect in front of a woman, if he can feel like this Dr.
Simple answer… “Who is Amir Liaqut”….. After sometime media will also forget him….
Why Amir liaquat is disrespecting the name of Islamic scholars with his tharki Pan
