Pakistani actress Fiza Ali finally came clean about her father. Turns out he’s not dead as we expected, he’s just toxic. Which is why Fiza has cut all ties with him.
The Mehndi actress revealed this painful aspect of her life during an interview at a TV channel. Fiza Ali even opened up about how her abusive father dictated her relationship with her friends.
The chirpy and happy go lucky actress had a traumatizing childhood, growing up with a toxic parent. She admitted that until now she had been dishonest to viewers that her father was dead. The truth is she has no clue where her father is because he is no longer a part of her life.

Fiza Ali described the details of how her father was abusive towards her mother and even beat her whilst she was pregnant with Fiza. He also mooched off her mother as she was from an affluent family. Turns out that the mother was the provider for the household.
In a way, her father is dead to her as he never played his role as her guardian but always a threat to someone who was, her mother.
“A father is a provider, a father is a guardian that carries your responsibility, someone who is concerned with your schooling, now someone who procreated you.”

The Chunri actress opened up about how this childhood trauma affected her friendships. She said she envied girls who had a healthy relationship with their father.
“I would be intensely jealous of girls with a good father, I could not be friends with a girl with a living father.”
Even as a grown-up, she worked past her issues with her father and forgave him only because he was her mother’s husband. Luckily this trauma has not affected her relationship with her daughter.
The two share a close bond and are often seen twinning in matching outfits.
