Renowned German content creator and travel vlogger, Christian Betzmann has accepted Islam. Taking to his social media handles, Betzmaan revealed the news on Friday.
“Islam is the religion of peace and I felt a deeper connection and something I want to experience and explore deeper for myself,” he wrote in the caption of his post.

Christian Betzmann has been in Pakistan for almost one year and during that time, he met a lot ‘incredible people and learned a lot about the religion and the lifestyle’. Sharing a picture of himself holding a certificate from the Islamic School of Miami, he wrote,
“Growing up in Europe, the word Islam was always connected with negativity, war, terrorism and to be completely honest, I was never a religious person before so I didn’t really care what people thought back then. My best childhood friends were Muslims and deep inside, we are all human beings in the same simulation we call life.”
Netizens and celebrities have flooded his comments section with lots of congratulatory messages and praises. Fellow YouTubers, including Sham Idrees, Zaid Ali and showbiz names such as Minal Khan, Zoya Nasir and Zara Noor Abbas him on the big decision.
Christian Betzmann also posted a vlog on his YouTube channel titled I ACCEPTED ISLAM | MY SHAHADA. He captured the beautiful moment of embracing the religion on camera and shared it with his fans.
