Turkey and Pakistan continue to bond over Diriliş: Ertuğrul. Now Pakistani actress Neelum Munir and Turkish starlet Gülsim Ali shared a heart-to-heart over on Instagram. Do we see the beginnings of friendship here?
Gülsim Ali, or ‘Aslihan Hatun‘ as we know her, is the wife of ‘Turgut Alp‘ in the Turkish period drama. Neelum Munir showered praised on the Turkish masterpiece Diriliş: Ertuğrul despite the fact that many Pakistani artists are opposing broadcasting foreign content on national television.
“Even though I respect views of everyone in my fraternity but I feel it’s not the matter of Turkish content or Pakistani content. We should look beyond and understand that its Islamic content, which has so much wisdom and teaches us the history and the values of Muslims.”
