Hadiqa Kiani shares her new song

On June 19, the Jaanan singer shared her rendition with her fans and said that she had remastered this Turkish song by the ‘living legend Sezen Aksu’.

Hadiqa Kiani further shared that in 2005, she had the honor of performing Sen Ağlama at the Atatürk Cultural Center and Opera House where she represented Pakistan and received a standing ovation from the audience.

“I remember telling the audience that as Turkey stood beside Pakistan in good and bad times, I wanted to convey the love of Pakistani people for the Turks.”

The singer has always had an affinity to the country as her maternal ancestors were from Izmir, a city in Turkey.

And as the two countries reached another milestone in their relationship with the tremendous success of Ertuğrul, she wanted to pay a tribute to the drama, Sezen Aksu and Turkey.

“We hope you enjoy this touching tribute,” she wrote at the end of her note.
